So I was planning on getting a new (and better) camera before I left but was timid to spend my money and thought I might rather have the extra cash when I was over there. But when my old Canon got sand in it at the beach I jumped on the opportunity to buy the new camera guilt-free. I went to Best Buy yesterday with no intention of actually coming home with a camera, but I did. It's the Canon PowerShot G10 and I absolutely LOVE it!! The photo quality is amazing. And I'm really excited to take some great pictures in Spain, later in Botswana, and everywhere in between.
Other than the camera, I don't have many updates. A week from today we have the Intrax Pre-Departure Orientation call / web conference, so I'm sure after that I'll have a more interesting update.
