Vida en Cadiz

I´m here in Cadiz!
SorryI haven´t gotten the chance to blog much yet I´m still getting settled.
But so far this is what I think...

• My host family is really nice! Different, but nice. They´ve been really helpful and make me feel like a part of their family
• School is very hard. I´m trying to switch to a public school..I´m at a private one now and the kids aren´t the nicest. Probably not just because it´s private, but either way I´m not happy there so I´m emailing my local coordinator about switching. It´s a stickysituation because my host mom works at the school I go to now so I don´t want to hurt her feelings but I definitely want to switch schools..
• Cadiz is beautiful! The old part is my favorite. I live about 20 minutes away from the old part by train, in a more industrialized city right outside the city of Cadiz. I like it but myhost family hasn´t really shown me around much so I´m itching to get out of the house! (Not really a house, just a little apartment)

But anyways, I´m happy but I definitely miss home. I wouldn´t call it homesickness though because I know if I were to leave Spain I wouldn´t be going home I´d be going to Botswana so I donñt know what to call it! But I´m happy here too...I don´t know, it´s hard to explain the feeling. But I think that after I switch schools I´ll be much happier!
