In Africa

I'm writing this post from a café in the Johannesburg airport.
I had a very tearful "hasta luego" at the Jerez airport with my exchange friends and coordinator. 24 hours later about I'm here in Joburg. My first 3 flights have been really smooth, no problems at all. I haven't gotten any sleep, so I'm exhausted, but we have a nice afternoon/evening planned so I have to suck it up and stay awake.
I met up with Gabe (he saw me first, I admit it) and it was great to see him again. We checked in for our last flight and now we're just waiting to board in about an hour and a half or so. Just skyped with Mom and Adam and Tripp...and I virtually met Kay and her 2 sons. They all seem so nice.

Gabe and I just had a delicious breakfast here ...mushroom/pepper omelette and fanta orange para mí.

It's overcast and not too hot today for summer here. My flight was SO hot and my melka bar almost melted, I had to eat it real fast...not that that was torture either. I am still planning on jumping in the pool with Tripp rain or shine when we arrive to the house.

PS I miss everyone in Cádiz. And everyone back in the States. I miss so many people.
